Nicholas Francis, our Music Tours Manager has many years experience in organising tailor-made high quality concert tours for discerning conductors in some of the world's finest and most prestigious venues.

After going to France to write a book about his record-breaking solo canoe voyage down the 3810 mile Mississippi-Missouri river system to raise funds for cancer research, Nicholas turned his energies to organising tailor-made music tours in France. Over many years he strove to build a reputation for excellence, which culminated in his being commissioned to organise the Allied Musical Salute in commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Liberation of France. Under Nicholas' auspices, 5000 young musicians from Britain, America and Canada took part in nearly 170 concerts throughout France in celebration of the defeat of fascism.
