Cantabria Spain
Cantabria is part of "green Spain", which stretches across the northern coast from Santander in the east all the way to Galicia in the west. Miles of unspoilt coastline contrast with lush green forests. The mountainous national park, "Los Picos de Europa" provides a stunning backdrop from which to enjoy this beautiful region. The Spanish spoken is considered to be the "purest" in the country.
A picturesque medieval village set inland, Santillana del Mar is a tranquil setting for your tour. With its cobbled streets and the 12th century collegiate church, a stay in the town makes you feel like you have stepped back in time!
Sample Itinerary - Spain
Day 1
Depart school for your Dover-Calais ferry crossing and travel overnight in your executive coach.
Day 2
Arrive at your hotel for evening meal (first meal). Travelling time from Calais to resort: 19 hours approx.
Days 3-5
We will arrange a programme of visits for you with free use of coach subject to drivers' hours regulations.
Day 6
Morning at leisure. Travel overnight to Calais with a packed meal for the return journey.
Day 7
Early morning ferry crossing and return to school.
Extra Day
